Lake Sunapee is a beautiful freshwater lake located in Sullivan County and Merrimack County in New Hampshire, United States. It is fed by over a dozen streams and covers an area of around 8.1 miles (20.8 square kilometers). The lake is shaped like a crescent and has a maximum depth of 105 feet (32 meters). The shores are mostly rocky with some sandy beaches, and the surrounding area is heavily forested. Lake Sunapee is a popular vacation spot and offers a wide range of outdoor activities including fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, hiking, and biking.
