Lake Sunapee

Lake Sunapee is a beautiful freshwater lake located in Sullivan County and Merrimack County in New Hampshire, United States. It is fed by over a dozen streams and covers an area of around 8.1 miles (20.8 square kilometers). The lake is shaped like a crescent and has a maximum depth of 105 feet (32 meters). The shores are mostly rocky with some sandy beaches, and the surrounding area is heavily forested. Lake Sunapee is a popular vacation spot and offers a wide range of outdoor activities including fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, hiking, and biking. There are several marinas around the lake that offer boat rentals, and there are public boat ramps and docks where visitors can launch their own boats. The lake is also home to several fish species, including rainbow trout, brown trout, lake trout, landlocked salmon, smallmouth bass, and largemouth bass.
